Laser etching is available on a selection of our stocked headwear options and allows for detailed logos to be etched into the fabric.
Designs will vary subject to the fabric and colour but in most cases, the design will come out darker after etching on our range of polyester caps.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once you have selected one of the available styles of cap and colour options, we will need to convert the logo into a usable file for our Laser Bridge this is then sent over to the system and plotted onto the front of the cap to make sure the positioning is correct before starting the process.
Once everything is in order the machine will trace the design whilst firing short bursts of high powered but precise beams of laser, which essentially burns a small layer off the cap, leaving the darker logo permanently etched on the hat.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS?
There aren’t many limitations, the main thing to take into account is the amount of detail in the logo, as large areas of intense detail will cause the laser to burn through the fabric. Another thing to note is small text less than 3mm in height won’t be readable. Other than that almost anything is achievable with Laser Etching, including branding onto peaks!
Branding areas vary depending on placement, but for the front of the cap you have around 120mm x 65mm workable space, peaks will be 45mm x 25mm.
